NYC Clean Trucks Program Expansion: Eligibility & Funding Updates

The NYC Clean Trucks Program is excited to announce new funding from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) to help fleets upgrade to cleaner, more efficient trucks. Fleets can secure significantly enhanced incentives—ranging from $12,000 up to $340,000 per truck—based on vehicle class and technology.

Funding is available for battery-electric, compressed natural gas, diesel-electric hybrid or plug-in hybrid electric, and diesel trucks.
Geographic expansion now includes Disadvantaged Communities (DACs) and Industrial Business Zones (IBZs) in NYC, and four counties in New Jersey (Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Union).
